Wow,! A totally unexpected opening, I was working on 6m, when i suddenly saw EA8JK appearing on my 2m FT8 screen. Was able to work him on the first call. He went up and down for more than one hour. maximum to about 0 dB here. EA8FB was weaker - my first call was not successful but 2nd time he came nicely to -11/-12 dB.
Also heard EA8EY in FT8 but only for 1 period. On SSB total silence in my QTH. Also no stations from mainland Spain heard here.
Thanks for the new DXCC and new ODX on 2m for me ! I was waiting to work EA8 on 2m for more than 30 years - finally I succeeded.

What a surprice this afternoon - one of those rare EA8-
openings happened! And even HB9 was included this
time! I am also happy I reached now the 3k-border in ES-
distance with EA8JK :-) Gracias, Manuel!
Most EA8 and the EA7 took the same TX-periode (1st) but
one EA8 used the other periode instead unfortunately.
To avoid QRM on both sides please check this next time
and it will be a gain for us all ;-)
