27. May 2020

And again - 2020 becomes similar to the extraordinary 2010 season. Starting again with a huge Es bubble in northwest Russia in the early morning the afternoon became yet another surprise for YO, YU and LZ when OD and 4X4 showed up suddenly.

Keep your fingers crossed that it will go on like this until August.

I was looking for a Chordal to 4X when suddenly I saw a call from EA8A who was +15 with my antenna west! I worked him like that , a few minutes later , with the antenna in the rigth QTF , I saw a signal so strong I believed at 1st it was a local but it was D4VHF up to +15.
This made my day. SSB was definitely possible with D4.
It's quite a surprise because I am behind the Pyrenees mountains , I would'nt have believed D4 was possible.
So what's next 5T5??

My friend from JO92 - FMDX.pl warn me about short skip on 3m FM BC.
After few minutes 2m openned. I heard UA6LQZ LN08, UA3QHF KO91 on FT8.
Lot of QSB again. UA4AQL and UA4ALU has been strong in peak after QSO. SSB/CW was possible as well. Just one QSO on SSB, didn't hear anybody else. I made multiple CQ on SSB also.
My signal on FT8 was received also by RD3ZA KO80 - probably highes MUF - 1368km.
During evenning short openning I heard for short time R7CE LN04 1940km
