Comment:
Another micro event announced by the presence of Moroccan VOR and Espichel (Portugal) VOR after hours of silence on the band.
Apparently just I1DMP, I2FAK and me exploited the SP located on the Pyrenees. Once again we demonstrated how small the Scatter Point irregularities should be. While I was copying CT1DIZ in IM58, I1DMP (80Km South of my home) did a qso with CT1FFU in IM59, replicating the 80Km (inverse direction after crossing the SP) in Portugal. Obviously I was not hearing CT1FFU and I1DMP was not hearing CT1DIZ. This condition has been verified several times by Paolo and me and it has been jokingly named the "80Km rule"
Hopefully August will provide some more fun
