I was taking my old TS700G 'for a walk on 2M' having modified the front end. It still gives a good account of itself and wasn't so easily overloaded by the Pack of QRM on 300! I heard UR5WCE quite early on and he called me again after a few minutes. The event was really quite patchy, with few signals lasting more than a minute or so before disappearing into the noise or being overtaken by stronger signals. Also heard were, SP7TEE and 9A2SB. SP8WJW didn't rx my callsign correctly, so too with LZ2PG in KN23. Thanks to all for the QSO's and fun. 73, David

There seemed to be 2 reflecting areas, one slightly to close over JO50, and the other over JN69. Reflections were mainly weak and fast fading. Only SO3Z & UT5ST were 59. I had to close at 1800 too, but I think it was over the. Very frustrating. 73 Bob

I hit the sporadic layer, I saw how many stations are doing QSO. At my location I had strong QRMs. However, after a long call CQ managed to make a new country (Northern Ireland) MI (loc IO64XL). The signal of MI0SMK station was good, report 59. I was close to the sporadic layer and there were difficulties with QSO
