Sporadic E with a reflectionpoint over Belgium with MUF up to 167 MHz. Not to much activity but strong signals...

Remarkable is the QSO between DH8BQA (JO73) and UT1FG/MM in IN54. This is a combined TR and ES QSO. The mechanism is the same as many combined TR/ES contacts between Central Europe to EA8.

As usual if you look at the crossing path' of these openings we're landing way north of EA1/2 in the deep blue water. Seems this time it was an advantage as my CQ was answered by UT1FG/mm! :-) You can certainly imagine how surprised I must have looked like. Definitely made my day! ;-) 73, Olli 'BQA

My first Es on 2m for this year. I was testing my RIG when suddenly I heard EI3KD calling CQ on 144300. His signal was very, very strong, but unfortunately, he was the only one I could hear for about 15 minutes. I called CQ, but nobody except EI3KD on the frequency :( So I did QSY on 70MHz and called EI4EY there, told him, that there is an opening on 2m. After a minute, I could hear him on 2m. It took me a while, before I could reach him through the pile up ;)
Unfortunately, that was all for today.

I was qrv on 6m but watching carefully because LiveMUF showed good signs. Just before 18:00z I saw a brief loud signal on my 2m SDR, somewhere above .300 - someone "testing". A few CQs on .300 brought in my first 2m Es QSO this year with DJ8RZ (it was he who was testing earlier), at the start of a nice strong opening. I think I gave HA4XN a shock when I found him on .350 (SDR again) while he was also "testing one two three", I don't think he expected the call :)

Listened to Mark EI3KD working lots of stuff for ages before it finally appeared here in IO80. When it finally did there were some pretty loud signals
Failed to complete with OK2PWY, and also with an SP6 who vanished in the noise.
