Sporadic E with a reflectionpoint over Belgium with MUF up to 167 MHz. Not to much activity but strong signals...
Remarkable is the QSO between DH8BQA (JO73) and UT1FG/MM in IN54. This is a combined TR and ES QSO. The mechanism is the same as many combined TR/ES contacts between Central Europe to EA8. |

Seems this time it was an advantage as my CQ was answered by UT1FG/mm! :-) You can certainly imagine how surprised I must have looked like. Definitely made my day! ;-) 73, Olli 'BQA |

I was testing my RIG when suddenly I heard EI3KD calling CQ on 144300. His signal was very, very strong, but unfortunately, he was the only one I could hear for about 15 minutes. I called CQ, but nobody except EI3KD on the frequency :( So I did QSY on 70MHz and called EI4EY there, told him, that there is an opening on 2m. After a minute, I could hear him on 2m. It took me a while, before I could reach him through the pile up ;) Unfortunately, that was all for today. 73, Aurel |

Just before 18:00z I saw a brief loud signal on my 2m SDR, somewhere above .300 - someone "testing". A few CQs on .300 brought in my first 2m Es QSO this year with DJ8RZ (it was he who was testing earlier), at the start of a nice strong opening. I think I gave HA4XN a shock when I found him on .350 (SDR again) while he was also "testing one two three", I don't think he expected the call :) 73, Mark |
