Comment:
I was on my way to the QRL when i got the Twitter-Post that the MUF is very High. So i conntected my Laptop via 4G with my SDR at home and managed to work the Station out of the car. Unfortunately i did not have the time to enjoy the whole opening, but i managed to work some new squares and stations.
It was the first live test for working mobile with my remote station. I am very happy that it works.

My first openings for this season. Thanks to LA9PMA, who sent out an alert, I was able to catch at least the better part of it. I missed perhaps 30-40 min at the beginning.
The first opening, lasting from about 06-08 UTC, was rather solid and directed to South-East. The second opening around 09 UTC was very patchy, with stations coming up for a minute or so.

I switched on the equipment at 3.30 UTC to find OIRT completely full, with stations at a distance of 1300km, so I knew MUF was quite high. When I saw the first 2m reports via ON4KST the reflectionpoint was too close for me. at a second one the MUF also rose quickly and I heard OH5LK very loud on 300. I called him, got my report and started calling at 144.320. Later OH5LK called me stating that the initial QSO was not complete :). A very nice opening; the best one of 2016 for me so far. I also heard a EQ station from KO35 which is max 1135 km.

Huge signals for 45 minutes, with UA3WM blanketing 300 (59+++). RA3SI gave me my first new # in 2016 (LO04). FM was very interesting as well, as I made 3 QSO's, but heard several more UA3s and EW's. Unfortunately everyone remained on 145.500, spreading to 145.525 and beyond might help next time :-). let's hope for a second phase this afternoon.

I called him, got my report and started calling at 144.320. Later OH5LK called me stating that the initial QSO was not complete :). A very nice opening; the best one of 2016 for me so far.
