There was an unexpected Sporadic E opening around 11.00 UTC. UR3EE reports QSO's with DK5OX and DK3XT
aprox. 13:30 UTC new opening between Danmark en southern Sweden to Sicily and Malta
aprox. 14.30 UTC band opened again

Was stby 300 and hrd him calling, but PA off. DK3XT worked him, then he dissappered in QSB when I could call. But luckily some minutes later he came through another time for some 20 seconds.

Just when you think this will be the first year
without Esp QSO on 144, you run into this very brief opening!
This was the very first 144 MHz Esp QSO I8/UT3UX ever made.

Unexpected openings today after many weeks without Es on 144 MHz. First openings no signals heard and seconds opening was going to look like the same when suddenly IK7LMX showed up. Signals faded fast away and same when ON6NL was working I8/UT3UX who came up during his QSO en tailended fast.
Season saved as I did not make any Es QSO sofar this year and it was going to look like 1st time in 37 years without an Es-QSO on 144 MHz.
