Surprise! On october 5th the MUF was unexpected high over the Gulf of Biskaje. Based on observations the MUF was over 125 MHz for sure and combined with some MS-enhancement it might just touched 144 MHz.

Strong VOR signals from Alicante airport VOR on 113 MHz and Ghriss (7X) JM05 on 113MHz indicated MUF was 125MHz+ above IN84 using LiveMUF.
No Stations heard on 2m after many calls on 145.500MHz, not sure of the legal situation for 2m in Algeria....
On 144.300 there was long strong ms from Joe CT1HZE and I heard him make a QSO with F8EMH JN29vl
