Some comments from Ian, G6GTO about Sporadic E to Germany on 50 MHz

Log: 13May 2010 1410z I enjoyed 30/9 signals from around the Berlin area from 1400z-1440 and 5/9 signals until 1539 with 16 German Stations being worked in this time period I also worked as well, 3 SP,12 Czech, and 6 OE 2 OM, 1 S51 worked in order of E cloud reflections movement. German 6m Stations were enjoying a very good path to the UK which is very short skip. 5/9 +10 -30dB !Squares were JO 60,61,62 ,71, 5W was all was required to work the German stations and they still gave ME a 5/7-8. This was one of 2 or three openings I enjoy per year to DL and always a pleasure and may I congratulate the German stations for being so disciplined and composed in a high activity opening we call it in the UK Manic.
