I hope that you enjoyed the perseids 2014 as we did. We have had a lot of fun. Despite what almost every year many say... my opinion is that '14 perseids were fine. There were at least 2 peaks in the night from tuesday to wednesday were it was clearly easier to work stations with quite small RIGs and many qsos were really very easy and fast.
We have been quite surprised to see in the statistics, at the end of the contest, that 8 stations >2000 km and 3>2100 were logged. As always the QSO with Peter SM2CEW is an "quite easy one" at the distance of 2186 km... it is really amazing what can be heard in JN47 from Peter via MS! Also this time he suprised me with a >20 seconds burst. I am wondering if the activity this year was growing compared to the past years, it seems to me that in the most countries the MS digital activity is still growing.
I'd like to thank HB9CAT Marco and HB9EFK Nick to be part of my team, originally it was supposed that I would be alone, but more or less in the last second they could join me for at least part of the contest.
Vy 73s es CU next year!

For the first time since years I was seriously active in MS on 144MHz in FSK441 mode.
I had to re-learn a lot, like frequency errors, equipement drifting and procedures.
I also learned that 2000km+ QSO's is not only a 4-yagi thing, even with single yagi and modest power at both sides these qso's turned out to be possible.
Of course several new squares and very pleased about the good activety from UA, UB, LY, YL, but missed the Scandinavians and SE Europe.

In first time started in MS-SPRINT. Time-to-time static storm killed MS reflection. Very good activity from DL,G,PA.
