DK5EW contest manager:

This 2010 MS SPRINT contest has been a  really good activity by many stations. As well several rare squares have been on air. And of course a good participations from the eastern Europe countries this year again. A special THANKS to all who activated a rare or most wanted square ! The Perseids 2010 itself was with its ZHR again below the last years with his predicted ZHR by IMO and MMMonVHF.

The winner of the QRP section (LZ1KQ) and the winner of the QRO section (LY2WR) shows that you have to do as many of QSO's are possible to win that contest. DH6DAO was very clever to handle in his only SSB QSO in the Vintage section. W7OJT was the only "outside Europe station” - TNX for participation.

Congratulations to all winners and participants of the MMMonVHF.de + DUBUS MS Sprint Meteorscatter contest ! The MMMpnVHF team + DUBUS is looking forward to your particpation in 2011.

DG7YBN:
hat Spass gemacht ... ein toller Wetttbewerb

5B/LZ1UK:
I was in Cyprus for the WAEDC CW HF Contest as a member of the C4I Contest Team.I decided to give some points to my bulgarian friends
from my club station.

DM2ECM:
anbei meine kurze Abrechnung; eigentlich sollten es mehr QSO's von der Insel Rügen werden.Aber unwetterartige Gewitter mit
Starkregen machten mir einen Strich durch die Rechnung.

W7OJT:
I'm certain that I didn't get on until after the peak. Best results at the beginning then got harder to make the long ones.
Don't have any hope of winning but wanted to turn something in just to say "thanks" for supporting meteor scatter by sponsoring this
contest.

DJ9YE:
another MS Sprint. Has been nice to be QRV again. Sometimes vy gd
condx. See u next Year !

DH6DAO:
es war zwar nur ein QSO, ich sende es trotzdem mal für den Kontest ein, zumal es mein erstes MS-QSO auf 2m jemals war.

DJ3LE:
anbei mein Log vom Mssprint 2010.

HB9FAP:
Dear MMMonVHF Team, since the contest has been issued in 2008, there has been a big growth in participants every year. Also this year I
noticed a higher number of QSOs and sometimes it was a kind of “pile -up via MS”, this was really a lot of fun (could get simultaneously up
to 7 stations calling me). Pity that not always everybody is patient to wait his turn. I noticed a very high number of stations active from
Ucraine (congrats!) and also with the United Kingdom I had a clearly higher QSO number than in the previous years. Reflections were in my
opinion not bad and all in all a good perseids shower. I think that best reflections were more or less between 21 and 24 utc on 12th of
august. I would like to thank very much all stations who called me and made QSO with me, I am sorry about the stations with NC QSO. A
few QSOs over >2000 KM were done. The funniest QSO was probably with Peter SM2CEW (2185 km): I got a long burst with RRRR from him (S9!)
and I could have time to switch to slow CW sending him my RRRR+73s. Peter thought it was a local station sending on his QRG ... I could
hear up to 2300 km distance via MS and best complete distance was with Kari OH7HXH, 2207 km. Dear MMMonVHF Team, I am convinced that the
MS Sprint on perseids peak is a very nice idea and the growing number of participants is a clear sign that you organized something that MS HAMs like.
It was a very good idea to “switch” the start of the contest at 12utc in order to be almost 100% sure to catch the peak(s) of the shower during the
contest time. CU next year !

IT9VDQ:
thanks for sponsorizing such a contest! Many thanks from Joe IT9BLB and me.

LA0BY:
Ich war eigentlich nicht speziell auf den Contest fokussiert, sondern mehr auf "Klasse statt Masse" geachtet. Mit 9 neuen SQR und 1 DXCC
war ich sehr zufrieden.

YL2AO:
Tnx for the Contest!

YO5PLD:
Thank you for the nice contest.. I was QRP because of the PA blown by intensive EME "course" so only 60w from the Icom 820H.
The Perseids wasn't so nice, I don't observe the peak, only a small outburst at about 11:30 - 12:00 UT

YT1VP:
another fantastic contest with many participants and good reflections.

ON6NL:
I was rebuilding my shack (actually my wife organized that) so I lost track of my radio activities. I don't remember if I already send my
MMsprint log! So sorry if it is double. After winning the 2009 Sprint, I was a little less motivated this year and was hunting the DX too
much. Best QSO was the last one. I made first a QSO with EB4DEH with a lot of help via the KSTchat as this was his first QSO. After that we
did a nice QSO under his new call EA4SG according the rules. Great to have a new Meteor hunter now.

UT2UB:
Thanks for nice contest!
