Is the first Trans-Atlantic QSO on 144 Mhz nearly happening?

On July 1th the NP2X beacon in FK77PR was copied by D44TS in HK77KE and on July 2nd NP2X received the D4C beacon in HK76MV.
It seems that good co÷rdination between stations and a carefull monitoring of beacons might result in the first two-way QSO across the Atlantic.

In the recent days there was also good tropo reported between between England and Canarian Islands / Cap Verde.
