Copied first ES signal around 16:29 from EA1HRR then after few minutes was been called from YU1MS while qtf at 313 deg which he gave me rpt while i tried to qtf to him vanished .Could be i heard him via reflection?
Then started to work French stations also in a sudden YO2BBT at same qtf. and this time qso complete.
Later i turn antenna to NE following MUF on DX Maps and worked UR8GZ and followed by the others.
Last qso was @18:01 with 9A5RJ via ES.

Good ES opening to SV5/SV9, i think is another combo of sea ducting and ES scatter over SV; only SV9 has a steady powerful signal, lot of QSB from SV5. Nice to see more SSB activity than FT8.

MUF was high all day yesterday, ES indications from midday from SV into 4X, 5B and uninhabited 2m lands (SU, 3V, 7X etc). 6m was showing short-skip @600km with 9++ signals across the band. Missed out on initial opening as antenna had high swr and needed repair with a t-storm 15km away :) 1st ES of the year, missed out on 2 others as it had opened for barely 2mins from SV

Not a big opening but nice! Spend the whole day in my Contest site JM99VR while band must have been open for hours. Heard many VOR Airport beacons between 108 and 118 Mhz dir 7x, EA and 3V8 but only one qso with EA3EVL at 13:35. When returned to my home qth in Kerkyra town the opening started....
Good luck everybody

I first heard station 9H1TX with fb signal 59+10dB !! Than I call him but he request to repeat my call. After that I gave him my call sign again and I also gave him my QTH locator. When he responded I only got his callsign and report and then the signal vanished/disappeared. This sporadic Es was short and sweet for me and unfortunately didn't hear any more stations.......It was my first QSO with Malt in Es....once agn mni tks dr om David !!
