A nice surprise to get a good opening to SM3/5. The band opened slowly, with signals up and down, and the propagation was very selective as usual for Es. At times signals were very good, with SM5KQS being the strongest and most stable for at least 30 minutes. The band was quiet for about 20 minutes before another short opening to SM3BEI. Please see http://ei3kd.73tu.com for my blog with audios, etc.

Nice long opening to the North East, very unusual from here. Little activity. Tnx qso's. Tim.

Unfortunately made a dentist's appointment at exactly the time 2m opened. When I returned home (at breakneck speed) the band had almost closed. Heard and called Len - He replied but then faded before we could complete a QSO. I seem to be in my unlucky phase at the moment - now missed 3 openings
Never mind - there's always next year.
