For the second day in row nice Sporadic E. First signals were reported around 13.30 GMT. Reflectionpoint at that time was over The Netherlands. Later a cloud developed above Northern Italy. Algeria was heard in Poland but no complete QSO. Best DX was between F8DBF (IN78RI) and SV3BEF (KM07RQ) with a QRB of 2404 km.
I was too close to the scatter zone for both openings.
Hrd EI4DQ vy weak but no QSO possible.

A great sunny afternoon in the Shack!
Band II (3m) was open since mid day and ES cloud moved
from west, s/w towards south and s/e ...
2m band opened only for some minutes at my QTH (JO31NF).
As well 2 nice QSOs was done, again the usual QRM by
stations nearby calling endless CQ (each saison the same!)
The highlight from 3m today:
15:12 100.2 TUN RTT Radio Sfax Ksour-Essaf PI:7204 JM55
A pitty nobody qrv 3V8 those days... ;-) lets hope on next days!

I WAS MONITORING THE E-SKIP AND WHEN THE CLOUD WAS OVER PA I PUT OUT A CQ AND IZ5ILX CAME BACK :NICE: THEN THE FIREWORKS STARTED HI, FIRST ES THIS YEAR LETS HOPE IT CONTINUES
The first opening was to EI, I worked just one, than from my qrl, the band was open to France, but was impossible to stay in radio.....qrl is qrl, I heard stations until 15.30
I was at the contest QTH to prepare some stuffs for the forthcomming CQWPX-CW.
Setting the logging software, I saw a lot of UFB Es spots in the cluster
window. An old FT-290R and a 50w brick into a 18el. made the rest.... ;-)

Very unlucky, this time; I was at home with a balcony 4el and 20w; just one qso with F1IMN and no more. Almost I was listening ALL QSO of IT9BLB/9 and IT9KSS, but here rig very poor so the north EU was not listening to me! No ES opening for me today!

73s Many tnx to all! pse DIRECT QSL F.sco (EX IW7CMV)
Yesterday I saw on internet large sporadic on 2m but unfortunately I was far away from home and miss great condition. I called emergency some LZ friend’s and they catch the great sporadic.
Today finally I was at home whit the warm radio and made QSO whit 3 F station :73 and good luck form LZ2RBB - Rosen.
Another nice opening, but but only a very narrow path was workable.
Stations heard 15km away from me were not audible at my QTH.
BC-band was full with EA-music and language, good indicator !

Had no time, and was able to just pop in to work a few stations. My main antenna is down, so I work with second station only: IC275H - 9 ele just above roof. Nice to work some Es again. has been 2 years ago or so.
I came a bit late. Was pleased to work JN52 = high MUF. Always a bit disappointing the see the "Always watching, never spotting" guys ; there are people alawys following what's going on the cluster but who never put any spot by themselves...

First signs of Es on 2m for me.
Could not work the loud IT9's Although my neighbours in PA-land
managed to get thru. Probably they put some more peppers in the pasta!
not easy to work ES with only 20 watts, because a lot of "amplifiers" on the air , but when the opposite station was peaking I was glad to be able to make 3 contacts with IT9's Thanks guys for the first ES contacts in 2010 for me. Hope to get my KW amplifier back soon.....
