Even that everybody thought that Es will take a rest on May 29/30 it came back with a nice and strong opening today. 50 MHz was almost closed in the morning and the early afternoon when suddenly after 1300 UT MUF was rising extraordinary fast in the Black Sea area. Scatter point was very huge in times and MUF was reaching almost 170 MHz.
2nd Es opening for me in this season. Worked 2 new #. Heard also UR5MGW from KN58QO vy shortly, also new # for me but didnt catch them :-( On FM channels a lot of UA stns which speaks only russian language and that was the problem to work with them. Lets see what will be happen in coming days, season starts pretty well! GL & CU via Es! 73 de 9A4EW,Hrvoje

Very spotty up here, obviously to far away from the reflection zone. TA7OM was the only station audible for about 4 minutes around QSO time at low signal strength (max. 55), then back again at 16:00 at S9 level for 2 minutes and again almost 10 minutes later for a minute or so. Nothing else heard.
Many thanks to DD3SP for the alert call by GSM as we were outside to prepare a small barbecue. So DL2BZE who was visiting was lucky to work a new DXCC, square and ODX on 2 m, too. ;-))

I was on the very western edge of this opening which was good for 4L again but no ones there anymore. Must QRT and take tower down due to severe T-storm.
But:
RA6DA and RN6BL both at the same time on 144.300 making chaos in central EU. Please try other QRG ending in 2, 3, 7 or 8 next time. You can be sure we will find you there and it will improve your number of contacts too.
73 and see you in Es tomorrow.

Nice but short opening, I was alarmed by a RN6-station on a local repeater and an OIRT-band full with russian BC-stations.

1 hour break for coffee and then the next opening, that's what I like, hi...
What a nice Es! Just the shame with missing 4L on FM. Also KN94 wasn't active so it's still wanted for me :-) MP3 files you can listen at:
