And again 144 was open. 50 and 70 MHz didn't really drop in the night (G was working into I on 4 meters after midnight) and that was a great promise for today. MUF was rising fast in the very east in the morning and reached 144MHz at 09:29 UT when UN7AX(LN53) was into YO, LZ and YU. This cloud was moving west slowly and OK, 9A, S5 and YU started into UA6 while TA was into LY and SP and at the same time I7 and SV2 into RA3. RZ6BU was audible in JN49 for some minutes. This opening lasted until app. 11.40 UT. Later in the afternoon MUF was always +- 70 MHz to the east reaching a second peak at 1700 UT when broadcast on 3 meters from DL, OK and I was up to 100 MHz into UA6. Unfortunately 144 didn't open again.
Nice start into the season! TA7OM was audible for about a minute at low signal levels - lucky to make the QSO anyway despite being far out of the actual reflection area. Seems the just started 3 weeks of personal "Sporadic E holidays" already payed off. ;-))

First 2008 Es for my area and also my real first opening on the east over the Black Sea. UN7AX was here for almost 2 hours but not takers. Very glad for a new DXCC.
